sushi mania

Today my boyfriend and I decided to take out some sushi for celebrating his birthday 3 days earlier because on the weekends we both will be busy with his huge family gathering for celebrating Father's day. Anyways, took some pictures of the sushi that we gobbled up our stomach. It's not from some fancy Japanese restaurant but from a small local family business take-out restaurant. Not only serving sushi, they also serve Thai and Vietnamese food. This restaurant called Aqua Sushi. I must say that the sushi is very good coming from a small family business resto. There are a lot of Japanese restaurant in Montreal that we have yet to try, but we will always go back for a quick-bite at Aqua Sushi because we really like it!

  1. YUM! That sushi looks delicious! Are those fried Tofu chunks in the middle? I love the ones with the salmon on top too!

  2. Hi Cookie,
It is indeed delicious, that's why I always go back for more sushi at this place. Haha. By the way, I'm not sure if you're asking about the sushi second from the left?? If yes, it actually is chicken karaage.

  3. I wish we had a homemade style sushi restaurant like this in my neighborhood. What's in the rolls in the far right?

  4. Come on, it should come to no surprise to you guys that these sushi are just bunch of veggies and healthy meat wrapped up in rice. It's not very much different, compared to; well shall we say coconut topping in a cheesecake. It's all about blanketing the meats and the veggies, so remember; lest no look deceive you, for no food is as delicious as its rawest form.
