mango tango

I saw a lot of ripe mangoes at the grocery few days ago. I bought two because I can't resist it but my craving for mango takes more than two! Today, I was pretty free the whole day and decided to walk to grocery and get more mangoes. I had something in mind of what I'm going to do with the mangoes because before I left I was looking for recipe for simple mango dessert and doesn't take so much time and trouble to make.

I got this idea from whiteonricecouple. Here's what I made with the very ripe mangoes.

Mangoes with Rum Whipped Cream

Serves 5

2 ripe mangoes
3/4 cup whipping cream (liquid)
Powdered sugar to taste
2tsp Rum to taste
Mint leaves

1. Sliced mangoes into small cubes
2. In a mixer, mix whipping cream, rum and sugar until fluffy and form into cream.
3. Serve it by layer in a glass/bowl you like and decorate with mint.
