beef in sweet soy sauce

It's been a week I didn't update my blog and come up with new recipe because I didn't have a lot of time to cook this week.
Like any other Fridays, I'm always free because I don't have class and I cooked beef with yet another Indonesian ready-to-cook sauce.

Beef in Sweet Soy Sauce.

500g beef flank
1 pack Munik Semur Sauce
2 cups chicken broth
3 tbsp sweet soy sauce (preferably Kecap Manis Bango)
1/2 sweet onion
2-3 bay leaves

Chop the onion into small pieces and stir-fry the sauce and put it aside. Even though the instructions say that you don't have to do anything with the sauce, I still fry it.
Using the same pan, stir-fry the beef.
Boil the chicken broth and add the sauce, beef, sweet soy sauce, and bay leaves. Cooked it in low heat until the beef is tender and sauce is thick.

Serve with white rice.
